Tips whilst in Rome
First of all we suggest you DO NOT take a taxi from Rome's Ciampino airport as there have been
quite a few instances of tourists being charged more than the standard 30 Euro per journey. Instead you can
take the Terravision shuttle bus to the nearby air terminal at Termini train station. Our hotel is only
a 15 minute walk from here. Cheap Rooms.
Although rooms at the Giotto Flavia hotel in Rome might be cheap we still offer
many services not normally associated with a budget hotel. Air Conditioning, Private Bathroom and a rather plentiful
continental breakfast including coffee, cereals and other items.
Nearby Nightlife
There are a number of pubs within immediate walking distance of the Giotto Flavia Hotel in
Rome, they are Druid's Rock in Piazza Esquillino which is open until 2 a.m. most nights and has live
music at the weekends - all year except July and August. Plus there is also a great new Irish Pub in Rome
called the Mulligans where you can enjoy a variety of live sports including Premiership Football, Irish GAA and Hurling
plus all the major sporting events like Open Golf, Wimbledon, NFL Superbowl in Rome etc. |
